On the main page it says:

"Finals & Year-end Party: Saturday, November 14th."

What and where is this year-end party?

can we cut the school age humour on the board and get to the good stuff.

Broncos vs Jets

Colin vs Spack, Dave Z vs Mike H, Chris Heath vs TO, Lots of storylines. Great game the first time they played.. Should be a classic. To me, its a coin flip, but will give the nod to the Broncos because of experience.

Lions vs Seahawks

Played first game of season. Seemed like a close game. Lions are going to have to play well defensively to keep it close. Lions don't score a ton of points, but don't give up a lot either. I see Seahawks winning but much closer than many are saying.

As it turns out the ACC would've been happier if Phil was reffing that Miami Duke game!

Hopefully players show up for the bottom half of the playoffs and it isn't a repeat of last year. That was a joke.

Funny, they suspend two refs and came out and said they made multiple wrong calls, and then went ahead and gave Corn Elder the ACC player of the week for the play.

I say go ahead and reverse the call and give Duke the win, but if they do that, they have to reverse this and give us our back to back national titles.

Can we enforce a mandatory drug test for this league? Based on the math and sucking fart comments it appears we have some drug abusers in this league.

If we could also find out with drugs they are using, I think that would be beneficial for the whole league. You know to maybe try at the year end party...

Duncan,

It was the best video I could find and the shortest one. That was someone's opinion. If you follow college football, Miami should have won the NC in 2000, they did win it in 2001, and then this in 2002. In 2000, the first year of the BCS, they beat FSU heads to head, and both finished 10-1. FSU went to the NC game and not Miami. These teams were loaded... Clinton Portis, Willis McGahee, Frank Gore, Andre Johnson, Santana Moss, Reggie Wayne, Jeremy Shockey, Kelle Winslow... Jonathan Vilma, Ed Reed, Mike Rumph, DJ WIlliams, Antrol Rolle, Vince, Wilfork, the late Sean Taylor, just to name a few.

Here is a better one that gives a full explanation...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFpTkYMLzdc

And look up the 30 for 30 on the U.. It is an education.

I'll check out the video later, presumably this one was narrated by a Miami alum?

This is a classic semi-final matchup pitting two very successful QBs against each other. Spackman is one of this areas best QBs over the past 15 years and is playing with a top 3 player in the area. Colin has had a lot of success in recent years. He has a big arm, and certainly benefits from playing with his brother every season.

This year after the Dave-Dave vs Colin-Mike matchup things get interesting, and thats where the game will be won. TO is still a legit first rounder, so having Mike take the heat off TO, helps open up the field for Colin. Other options like Liam and Tim and Drew help round this team out. Their D is rock solid as well. The Jets also have a deep team with Jordan, Chris, and the revelation Russ Beverly.

I think these two teams are very evenly matched and will likely come down to a drop or big 3rd down stop that will make the difference.

Get your popcorn ready, this'll be a good one.

While everyone will be watching the south field, there is a very good game on the north. The Lions have done the proverbial "got hot at the right time" thing. Their defense has come together and has the potential to shut down a very good team as seen against the Raiders. Their offense which has been average at best this season, exploded the past couple of weeks, so maybe this is a sign that Todd has figured it out. Tim Wray obviously still has it and the King brothers are a handful.

They do have a test against an offense that has been far and away the best in the league this season. #toomanyclarkins and Akeem have been a very tough combination. Noah uses his whole team, so its very hard to key in on any specific player. This one will come down to whether the Lions can figure out how to keep the Hawks scoring down. With no rain in the forecast, they aren't getting any help from the gods, they have to do it themselves.

Average- 75 ????

Where in the hell did your math come from... to find averages, you add up all your numbers and divide by how many numbers you have... (5+90+80+90+0+5+100)/7=52.85 so lets round that off to 53... So I don't know where your 75 came from.

Even if he is ranked a 53, that just means hes 53/53 meaning the best player in the league. Done deal.

If my rating is a 75 I'm sorry to say that you must be sitting at a comfy 42. It's hard to talk shit when you play just like that.

Not sure if you've ever played Madden before but they don't add up all the numbers and average them. It is a weighted average. So before calling someone else out you might want to get your facts straight.

Playoffs!? PLAYOFFS!? Yes coach Mora, the playoffs are finally here and both excitement and disappointment was found on the field during the round robin series.

Make some picks, have a beer and get rowdy on the hill!

Let’s hope to a lot of upsets and good football!

Game 1: 0900 Dolphins (2-5) @ Chiefs (2-3-2) Henry North

QB: Nick Mikos + Jason Chambers
1: Frank Katradis = Ben Blanche
2: Giorgio Mikos + Frank Siciliano
3: Desmond Johnson – Jason Schleiffler
4: Steve Matthews + Brion Hendry
5: Joe James = Mike Schleiffler
6: Jake Walsh + Bryan Desouza
7: Dan Fowler = Craig Klassen
8: Steve Oleksik =Matt Snyder
9: Paul Ryan – Pete Hazlett
10: Billy Katradis – Noah Hazlett
11: Shawn Williamson = Doug Mckeon

These two teams met at the midway point of the regular season with the Chiefs coming out on top in a close one. I expect another good game between these two teams. Give me the Chiefs by less than 1 score.

Game 2: 0900 Saints (0-6-1) @ Raiders (5-1-1) Henry South

QB: Jelani Adams + John Miller
1: TJ Bradimore + Jason Beaver
2: Matt Rafuse + Mike Rafuse
3: Don Fry + Chris Fealy
4: Matthew Brooks = Matt Siekowski
5: Darryl Cain = Jeff Hernandez
6: Jason Best – Neeraj Gautama
7: Mario Listro = Jomo Hanley
8: Rodney Hubenig = Taylor Eskins
9: William Jeyaveeran + Rodney Eskins
10: Jason Desouza = Chris Dufty
11: Dave Rafuse = Ciaran Hickson

The Raiders are the biggest surprise in the bottom 4 teams. They will probably run away with this division fairly handily. The Saints just don’t matchup but have been playing well in 2 of the last three games. Take the Raiders by more than 1 score.

Game 3: 1045 Lions (1-5-1) @ Seahawks (6-0-1) Henry North

QB: Noah Tumin + Todd Stansbury
1: Akeem Foster + Tim Wray
2: Fabrice Kabongo = Ben Payne
3: Kyle Clarkin + Adam King
4: Nick Clarkin + Wes King
5: Tyler Clarkin = Brad Smart
6: Steven Clarkin = Andrew Staff
7: Glenn Clarkin – Jonathan Binder
8: Bryan Clarkin – Charles Higney
9: Mark Murray = Kevin Higney
10: Alex Haeussler = Ryan French
11: Aaron Baechler = Kent Clark

The Lions made a very impressive and unexpected round robin run to the final 4 amidst a controversial decision to have Tank play as a rusher and drop into coverage. The Seahawks encountered their first loss of the season when they played the Jets and Noah did not look like himself. Will the Lions potent defence be able to stop this powerhouse offence? Probably not. Give me the Seahawks in a blowout.

Game 4: 1045 Jets (3-3-1) @ Broncos (5-1-1) Henry South

QB: Colin Hadden = Dave Spackman
1: Mike Hadden – Dave Zmozynski
2: Chris Pierre + Jordan McDonald
3: Dylan Boyle – Chris Heath
4: Liam Hadden – Dylan Goulet
5: Drew Walker = Luc Samanski
6: Andrew Murgatroyd = Ryan Stedman-Smith
7: Rich Hadden – Russ Beverely
8: Tim McCaskie + JJ McCallum
9: Peter Kalo + Sean Harding
10: Cameron Dunnett = Junius Jules-Soungie
11: Dave Warburton + Stevens Juene

Game of the week. This will be great competition right down the board. Both quarterbacks have great communication with their number 1 receivers and both know how to win when it counts. The Jets showed just how well they can play when they are on the same page. The Hadden crew has been at the top all year long. A rematch of last year’s final. This game will come do to the last play and maybe more. Tough to call so I’ll take the Jets in this one by less than one score.

Good luck to everyone out there this weekend.

Broncos Vs. Seahawks

Seems like people would pick Seattle over Denver because of the record and their players, but what people didn't know about the game the Broncos lost was the they out scored Seattle in the second have by 2 scores. T.O also wasn't 100% either the whole game. With T.O healthy and the Broncos riding a 4-Game winning streak in the play-offs it could be a closer game than people think! Good Luck Colin and Noah!

Broncos are not underrated. You have a top 3 QB in the league and 2 of the best players in the league and a very deep team. You lost one game all year.

But to make a ridiculous statement like that about the previous time you played is silly. The really story is this. Broncos didn't have Mike. Seahawks didn't have Fab or Nick. The score ended up being 46-36. If you outscored the Seahawks by 16 in the second half, that means the Hawks outscored you by a whole not more before that. That is also the game that Akeem hurt his shoulder and didn't play the second half. In fact, Noah was seen guarding TO at times. Sub-optimal.

Bottom line is both teams are loaded, both seem to be healthy now, and we didn't really learn anything from the first time they played. This will be a good one.
