Is there a second Billy in the league that I don't know about?

Highlight player of the game for team white was Billy this week. Not included on the score card were his batted balls. Billy scored one of their two touchdowns and had 3 knockdowns at the LOS. One prevented a touchdown. One prevented a conversion and one was a third down stop. Huge game for the kid.

No pick 6 this week as Nick wisely stayed away from me but I did take a punt back to the house.

In two weeks green vs carbon may be a finals preview with no disrespect to Spack and Colin.

Defense bailed me out throughout the game! Receivers did a great job making some catches on questionable tosses from me. Fun game to be a part of, good job from Royal who were down a Clarkin and great effort from Orange.

As for QB controversy, I think we may stick with the QB who has won 3 of the last 6 championships!

Kev is a good player, no doubt about that and he would help anyone.... still need a guy to get him the ball and Colin has been right there with a couple others in being best in this league at doing that.

Reviewing the stats page and there are some notable names at the bottom of the page with zero points to their names:
Craig Klassen
Dave Warburton
Matt Snyder
Tim McCaskie
Jake Walsh
Big Pete

Whats going on, are these guys exclusively on D now? They don't typically light up the score sheet but they are usually good for a TD or convert every other game or so, but FOUR games into the regular season? C'mon!

Whitby is a town in Durham Region. Whitby is located in Southern Ontario east of Ajax and west of Oshawa, on the north shore of Lake Ontario, and is home to the headquarters of Durham Region.

It had a population of 128,377[1] at the 2016 census and it is approximately 20 km (12 mi) east of the Toronto borough of Scarborough, and it is known as a commuter suburb in the eastern part of the Greater Toronto Area.

While the southern portion of Whitby is predominantly urban and an economic hub, the northern part of the municipality is more rural and includes the communities of Ashburn, Brooklin, Myrtle, and Myrtle Station.

Week 4 is in the books. Only 3 more games of the all-important regular season left! Remember, Top 8 teams make the playoffs so the playoff push is on! Last week was an Ugly one for myself with 2 wrong picks. Dropping to 12 out of 16 games correct on the year. Black and Blue let me down. Dyl the Thrill Pickle, Common MAN!!!

What did we learn this week, or not learn?

-I have resigned calling carbon element number 6 due to inefficiency in typing. They will be Carbon for me, Royal will still be referred to as blue, and light grey will still be referred to as grey.
-Spack is beatable?! Albeit he had a shorthanded squad.
-has a QB controversy??
-Team white sure misses Franky after that kick return
-Is Carbon the team to beat? We will see when they play blue in a weeks time.
-Who will win first, Black or Grey? It will come down to the final week of the all important regular season.
-Will Neeraji ever return from the mystery injury/surgery to play in the ALL IMPORTANT REGULAR SEASON? Is he now JPP with limited digits?

This weeks games:

Grey vs Blue
Uh oh, Spack looking to bounce back. Grey is reeling from an ugly defeat at the hands of Team green without Z. This game could get out of hand in a hurry. Luc is going to need all of his Oshawa Stats to make this game interesting. A rematch game for Alex and Mark after the finals loss last year to Spack. Big Pete will get on the scoring board this game though, jump balls to him against the clarkins. Cant see anyone on Grey keeping up with Clarkins or Brandt. Cain Staff and Duffy should shut down Pete, Luc, Dustin and Potter. Lets just hope everyone stays safe here and there is no bad blood with the scoring getting bad.
Blue wins 56-6

Orange vs White
White is coming off a heartbreak loss at the hands of their past love and kin. Frank has moved on, Biebs and Nick, can you? Orange is your Jeckle and Hyde of the year. Losing ugly games and beating the top dog. However Orange has lost to Noah and Jelani, both top teams. Nick and Biebs will not be stopped on offense this week. Tim, Ben, or Mike cant keep up with the speedster but they should find a way to limit Biebs effectiveness. The depth on offense could hurt White here, Jomo, Brooks, and Fowler will need to take the weight off Biebs, unfortunately Orange has Joe, Tim and Rodney to match up well. Orange will score on offense with loaded receivers. Who will throw? The slimmed down Colin? Either way, Orange wins it.
Orange 28-14

Green vs Black
Dyl the Thrill has left Jelani after the finals melt down to try his hand at QB in search of better pastures. Unfortunately, they are not GREENER Pastuers (See what I did there?) Green machine is rolling even without Z. Stellar defensive getting contributions from Taylor, Mario, Kitch, Folco, Jelani and Jay. Dyl Pickler needs to hope Fab comes out. Team black has the speed to cause problems here with Jake and Fab and the hands of Aaron and Andrew. Drew is going to need to get his defence in line here, team green is looking good with Jelani on a mission to make it back to the finals and end the all important regular season with a W. The first win for Black will be coming soon, October 14th, not this week though.
Green wins 36-22

Red and Carbon
Wow Noah always seems to find the diamonds in the rough and contend each year. This is year is no different. It helps to have Christopher T.O Peirre and a Tank to throw to and score from anywhere on the field even special teams right frank? Team Red is on a 2 game win streak, riding high with T OBJ J and his 1 handed catches. However they played the 2 weakest teams in the league and are in for a reality check. OBJ is exciting but he doesn’t translate to wins. Will and Andrian are fast but will be in tough vs TO and Frank. Synderface will have his hands full with the TO block. Higney will run free here. Miggy, warbird, Jay and Craig need to show up and play well to keep this remotely close. Interested to see the TJ and TO matchup, former teammates both on the latter half of their primes. Can frank score on O, D, and ST? Not if ROD BENSON has anything to say about it!!
Carbon takes this one big. 48-14.

Updated power rankings.
Carbon Takes top spot with another Win
Blue down a spot after an unfortunate loss shorthanded
Green remains steady at 3
Orange up a spot after knocking off the top dog
White down a spot after the loss
Red remains steady after two wins in a row picking on the bottom feeders
Black no change
Grey no change

The red/carbon game will not be a blowout. Don't you worry, son. It will be a butt-whoopin' of epic proportions when red, led by Rod 'the rod' Benson, systematically destroys every bit of self confidence (or false bravado) that the carbon team has. With confidence eroded to zero, red's league-high football IQ and sheer ugliness will rip apart a carbon team full of pretty boys (most particularly frank and chuck - couple of long-haired hippies!).
Anyway, I could talk about Noah and TO and Petey and the rest, but I kind of forget what their play is like, given their lack of remarkableness. Good people, bad ballers.
Last word on this - carbon, I hope to see you all there. It's always more satisfying to crush the full roster.

@Snyder. It doesn't matter if we have a full roster or not considering 2 of our guys have scored more then your whole team. You should just admit defeat now... You don't have a chance..

@ CARBON

Your top 2 scorers have in fact NOT scored more points than team red. Your top 2 scorers have scored 70 points, and team red has scored 74 points.

Your point is invalid, and Snyders point still stands.

If Justin Beiber didn't chase down Tank on the 3 inch line on the last play bomb last week, they indeed would have had more points than Red. So Giorgio helped validate Snyder.

3 inches makes a huge difference.

Carbon sucks.

I am, and always have been, a Belieber.
Dont trust the stats and point boards people - they are simply a tool the self-serving executive uses to repress the creativity and all-around awesomeness of the individuals and teams in this league. Don't let them repress your progression!

I look forward to a great matchup with red this week. We all know that TJ is ageless and is still at the peak of his prime. That alone should be trouble for CARBON.

Their next best player, Snyder, is essentially unstoppable on defense and I look forward to having a personal one on one matchup as always. I think the score is 5-3 for Snyder in my first 8 years so I hope to bring that matchup a little closer to even.

So long as Reds QB has all his 'Chambers' loaded (see what I did there?), this will be a good game!
