Red - Two wins, both looked great. Interested to see them this week against Spackman. 3. Grey - Rough showing this week against Royal, but missing their QB. Still gets dropped for it. 4. Pink - After looking ordinary week 1, showed Kyle is not quite past his prime . 5. Black - From the penthouse to outhouse. These are the ups and downs of the WMFL. 6. White - Spackman will get the ship righted. 7. Royal - Gets a notch up for a tie. An 8-8 tie. Not much else to say about that. 8. Yellow - Not really anything to see here. Move along.

In all honesty, that was #3 on my funnest games I have played. #1 has to be the last second FG by Duncan McDonald while TJ watched it just under the upright where we won something like 57-55. #2 was the Clarkin's coming out party where we beat Haddens, TO, Drew, and Andrew. Of course that game was predestined because of you know, the Walker curse. You play enough and you will be part of all sorts of situations. Some that come to mind and I am getting old so memory may be sketchy: 1.) Hadden needing a win on the last game of the season to make playoffs. Intentionally dropping the ball in the end zone to not give (Raf?) the ball back and then kicking FG because they jut needed a rouge. The ball hit the upright and they lost and missed the playoffs. 2.) Miller had a stacked team of TO, Wes, Neeraj, Jomo and lost on a last play hail mary to get ousted from playoffs. This league is great for close games and last minute drives. Looking forward to a great season!!

QB controversy brewing? - Giorgio is THE hardest man to catch. Dudes were falling all over and missing on at least two TDs that were ALL YAK - Klassen completely shut down TO, even picked a throw in 1:1 coverage - Synder got beat like a punk by Bryce. Embarrassing, dude is old and washed up and ugly - Noah wins the sweatiest man in whitby prize
Posted By: Colin Cowherd 2.0 Posted On: Sep 14th, 2021 Views: 1498	Here is my reaction to week 2’s games. Stay tuned for week 3 picks. This segment is called: Where Colin was Right! Where Colin was Wrong. Pink (Kyle) vs Yellow (Glenn) Got this game right but it was more of a blowout than I predicted. The big question is, is Pink back as a top team or did they simply pick on a short handed Yellow team without their top dog in Frank. I think this is a bit of both as I had Pink as the preseason Fav and this win will give them confidence from their debacle after week 1s loss. I also don’t think Yellow is this bad, they were simply outmatched in this one and missing Frank. If these 2 teams played 10 times I would probably take Pink 9 times, but I still think Yellow can battle for a middle tier team, just outclassed by Pink. White (Spack) vs Blue (Noah) I kind of got this right? No one gave me spreads darn it! I picked Blue to win but not by this much of a landslide. Both teams were short handed it seemed with small benches. Spack absent and Whitter’s absent made a impact. Team white should be okay once they get their players back, I just wonder if they are a top tier team or maybe more of a middle tier now after 2 losses and this one was ugly. Blue now has knocked off 2 top teams of my preseason rankings which either means they are dominant or maybe my preseason rankings are way way off. I am looking forward to seeing how good blue can be when they get the top player back, Jamie. Also looking forward to seeing if team white is really this bad, rarely is a Spack team not a contender. Grey (Jelani) vs Royal (Drew) Got this game wrong for sure. Never predicted a tie here. Grey went from my week 1 strongest team to now looking a little weak. Yes yes I know they didn’t have J, but they had their athletes out there. Still great defense, albeit is it impressive to stop Royal? Also now questioning team grey as seeing their first week win now doesn’t look so good as white got pounded. With all that being said, I still think grey is a top team, this league and all leagues really rely on the QB. Missing a great player hurts but nothing like missing a QB. Grey will be fine. The bigger story here is Blue balling out and playing hard. Hopefully this gives them some motivation to get a W somewhere on the schedule. They are doing better than White and Yellow thus far if you only look at the standings. Sadly I still see Royal as a lower tier team. Red (Jesus) vs Black (Jack) I got this game right. Black has came back down to earth after looking great vs royal. Team black is full of talented vets and will be in every game, I just wonder how many more W’s are on their schedule. Perhaps vs Yellow? They will keep coming out and playing hard and maybe ruin someone's season along the way. The story here is Jesus if Jesus is looking or has it been a lower competition in playing 2 of my preseason lower tier teams in Yellow and Black. I think Jesus has been playing well and doing exactly what he should be, I just need to see it vs a strong team with a defense or even vs another offense that doesn’t give them short fields all game. Jesus’s draft is looking great though as Bryce and Rocca are unreal, Rocca is crazy fun to watch. I was 3 for 4 on the spreads again, I need official spreads please, and 6 for 8 on the season. Here is my updated Rankings! Hard to be results oriented after 2 weeks, you must take in many factors other than wins and losses when its this early in the season. 1) Blue- Hard to argue with 2 great wins. Up 1 spot 2) Pink- up 1 spot, didn’t prove much though in beating a weaker team 3) Grey- Down 2 spots, They will rise again, just shocked they couldn’t put Royal away 4) Red- only up 1 spot, I really need to see more but so far they are looking good 5) White- down 1 spot, I wanted to drop them more but I cant justify putting anyone higher 6) Black- Holding steady, Best of the weaker teams for now. 7) Royal- up 1 spot, impressive game but still didn’t finish the job 8) Yellow- down 1 spot, they have to battle to get out of the cellar. Week 3 Predictions coming shortly. Need more time for analysis and injury reports/attendance

With Spack back and a few subs I feel like they can beat anyone. Not very much separating the top teams this year other than a few more made plays, which makes this season very exciting. I feel like a lot of the teams are still working out some details and will be firing on all cylinders come playoffs. Looking forward to this weekend. Hopefully we can see some teams bounce back or separate from the pack.

Starting with Mario kick return and culminating in the two point convert to Russ. Good news is every year now I circle my matchup with Jelani as soon as the schedule comes out. I know there were lots more guys that had major input to the outcome but it’s the least I can do to stay sane. Only hope this Final and playoffs this year provide that same excitement!

Each week I’ll give you one bold prediction per game: Game 1: Red v White Should be a great game. Young stud and religious icon to many Jesus versus the Devil himself, Dave Spackman. Bold prediction: The powers of good triumph. Red wins. They throw no interceptions and TO picks Spackman off, as does Rocco. Game 2: Yellow v Grey Many anticipate an ugly game. I don’t. Bold Prediction: Yellow only loses by 2 points! Game 3: Black v Pink Lots of possibilities here. I’m going to go with The Klassen/Snyder block continuing their interception streak. And add 2 to Nick on his brother. Bold prediction: Kyle throws four picks, again! Game 4: Baby Blue v Other Blue Royal needs to hope baby blue take their foot off the gas like they did with white last week. Bold prediction - royal gets three scores this week, one on defence, amd one junk time at the end when baby blue is up by about 24. Have fun this week, gentlemen.
Posted By: Colin Cowherd 2.0 Posted On: Sep 15th, 2021 Views: 1376	This weeks Week 3 Picks (Almost a full week of blowouts potentially) Joe (Red) vs Spack (White) The standings have this game as favourable for Red as they are unbeaten and White is winless. I am not sure that will be the case. In the matchup of QBs, Jesus has played excellent as a rookie thus far and can play solid D, however the advantage goes to spack here. I would love to see Jesus prove me wrong but I don’t think he has been tested yet. Ill take Rocca over Z here, Rocca has been unstoppable in the open field this year and I don’t see Z stopping him nor do I see white having the ability to use many defenders since red has so many weapons that cant be left alone. I am not sure if Mario is going to play, but I would rank TO and mario as even if he dose. Kitch and Bryce is a fun matchup as both are excellent 2 way players and playing at the top of their game this year, I think Jesus has a better connection with Bryce so far so slight slight edge to bryce. Ill take Wilson and Quincy for white over Mark and Edwards here but not by much. Alex and Matt have been excellent thus far as has Danny an Marci. Both groups seem to be relied on more than their draft value indicates but I am leaning team white here as Spack has been relying on Alex. James, Jason, Warbird and Doug have a slight edge over Higney, Andre and Trevor. As the analysis indicates I think the teams are relatively even throughout the rosters. I just see the QB differential as the difference here. I cant see a Spack team going winless through 3 games, while the team may be short handed, they will find a way to win this in a close game, closer than I would have thought in the preseason. White wins 32-26 Yellow (Glenn) vs Grey (Jelani) This has the makings to be a blowout sadly. Both Glenn and Jelani have proven then can win in the past but ill take Jelani in his return here with the edge. Luc and Frank will be a fun battle to watch, both are aggressive and excellent defenders with great offensive prowess. Ill take Grae for team grey over Tim but only by a hair. Remy vs Ben would have been fun to watch if this was the Ben of a few years ago, while Ben is still excellent he wont be able to matchup with Remy on Grey on either side of the ball. This is where Grey will start to pull away, Rion and Ryan are both studs and they have a large advantage over Pinto and Harrison which isn’t a slight to Harrison or pinto but merely a nod to rion and ryan. Duffy and Smart have the edge for yellow over jerry and dante but not by much. Rodney, Jamie, David and Nahgrieb on Grey will be able to out duel Steven Bryan and Billy. I think this game is not as much about the individual matchups but the team matchups. Grey is getting slandered on the board this week and are looking to prove the tie was due to the absence of their leader. While Yellow gets the return of Frank this is not the same as missing a QB. Grey makes a statement here and continues their excellent defense and the offense gets rolling making this a very long morning for team Yellow. I don’t predict this game to be fun to watch, the last bit of the game will be garbage time and perhaps yellow sneaks a score then, maybe one earlier but I am not sure. Grey wins 52-12 Pink (Kyle) vs Black (Jack) In the preseason I would say this would be a huge blowout, now I think it is a little closer but not by much knowing that the kyle train has started rolling. Kyle is a proven winner while Jack has shown he can move the ball, he has some time before he is on the level of Clarkin. Kyle has the advantage here at the Black Jack table Ace, King (Not Adam king, this is a card game refence). Giorgio and Nick is always a great battle to watch but this year G has been on fire so give me G in this battle for Pink. King and Neeraj really matchup well as both are big targets with great hands, but I like Neeraj here as his route running is great and a bit more speed, ad to pink again. TJ and Jordan is almost a battle of oppsites, excellent hands vs speed. Ill take TJ on black even though Jordan has the advantage on D. I think Synder and Noah for black have a slight edge over Steve and Jay, even though both duos have a mix of vet and newer players and both specialize on D. Staff and Criag have the advantage again for Black over Rodney and Jules but not by much, Criag has been great thus far this year. Wyatt and Waleed are both youngsters full of energy, tie. Pat and Pete have the edge for black over Buffet and Mikos. The analysis seems to have an advantage for both teams. I think Pink’s offense will be the first big test for Black on D and I see them struggling to stop Kyle. If team black struggled to score vs red I cant see them fairing much better vs a stout team pink looking to prove that their week 1 loss was a fluke. Pink wins 40-12 Blue (Noah) vs Royal (Drew) Yes I call Carolina Blue, just Blue. Same as Xtreme yellow is just yellow. This is a lot of typing each week and I love to cut corners. The path of least resistance one might say, as the crow flies. Funny since I just wasted time writing that stupid blurb. Battle of the best blues here, argos and double blue or maybe varsity blues for team royal. They are in for a long day as they are outclassed by Carolina Blue. Noah has the edge over Drew here, @did you notice, sweaty or not here he comes. Jamie and Tyler isn’t close in my opinion, nothing against Tyler, Jamie is simply a dominant force on both sides of the ball if he plays, big IF though, ad to blue. Jason and Murg could be fun to watch but drew and murg have a connection so give me murg for Royal. Jackson and Jake are very different players, Jack is aggressive and plays hard with good hands, jake is full of speed but can drop a ball here and there, ad to jack and blue. Derek and Jomo are dead even with Will and JJ. The J gun JJ and Jomo have both looked great this year though. Ill take Ben and Tim for Royal over Justin and Jesse. Peter Kalo and Elk would be fun but I haven’t seen much of Elk yet so ill take Peter for Blue. Tony is a tie with Lance and Riley for now. This game may not be too fun to watch as it could get ugly, but so will the other game on at this time. Look for Noah and Jamie to light it up on O, and Jamie to light it up on D for that matter. With Blue’s offense clicking on all cylinders it will put Royal with a long field all day vs a surprisingly good D with a bunch of new faces for Blue. Royal’s only hope is that it rains and the pump fake will be ineffective for Noah. Blue wins 36- 6 They are kind in the second half to not run up the score COPY AND PASTE my rankings again Here is my updated Rankings! Kinger will score over top of Neeraj. TJ will score one-handed, twice. Wyatt will sack Kyle four times. kyle will throw more TDs to his brother than he will to Giorgio. Not many people know this, but before the season the league executive tried to repress Giorgio’s progression. They wanted him to sign a pledge to not indulge in drugs, alcohol, or PEDs, to show his commitment to the league and to Kyle’s team. Giorgio, in typical Giorgio fashion, says, “I may play football this season, but I will never sign that.” He then crunches up the paper and throws it away. Stunning. As Giorgio swaggers away a league executive who shall not be named but who’s name rhymes with assassin, points at Giorgio and says, “Giorgio Mikos, you better get your priorities straight.” Why do I tell you this story? To highlight my man giorgios disdain for what ‘the man’ tells him to do? To out my brother for possible use of performance enhancing drugs? No. So this league knows that you are dealing with a Maverick. A man who blazes his own path. Let’s go Giorgio! I love the pink!
