Hey Glen , quite the tattoo , But did you think of placing it in your throwing arm , just saying. On a serious note hoping Billy and Danny are doing okay and the injuries are not as bad as they looked on the field, Never good to see anybody getting hurt. Get better soon Boy's.

Heading into the final playoff round robin game here are the pool standings.

First Game Predictions
Drew vs Glenn (Yellow -2.5)
Drew has greatly improved as a QB this season. It seems though that Yellow just has a few more playmakers with a little more to prove this year. Should be close.

Jelani vs Spackman (Grey -9.5)
Grey wins assuming full lineups on both sides. Grey is starting to roll and White allows too many points. Grey has first place in Pool A locked up already.

Second Game Predictions
Noah vs Jack (Carolina Blue -10.0)
Noah and Carolina Blue's tune up game before the semis. Black will put up a solid game as they always do, but Carolina Blue is too much at this point of the year, and they have a lot to lose (2nd place in Pool A) if Black can upset here. Take the over on this game.

Joe vs Kyle (Red -1.5)
Red wins, they get first in Pool B. Pink wins, they remain undefeated and get first place. Expecting this game to be a either a shootout or a low scoring defensive match... no in between. We have Mark Murray and they don't though, and I've seen the man catch footballs without his hands. Take Red on this one folks.

Week 3 playoff picks

(I am not sure about the chances of teams making the finals, someone should do a playoff scenario post)

Royal vs Yellow

Royal looked like regular season Royal last week, getting blown out by a better red squad. Their season is over for title hopes but they are playing for pride now! Yellow last week put up and excellent fight, alot of emotion in their game but they did well to tie the pink machine. They should be proud of their performance. Big game here as yellow still has a chance I think if Red loses it will come to points against for Yellow and Pink. The QB matchup here is very close but I think ill take Glenn in this, he has been improving his play in the playoffs. Yellow should be able to put points up on blue, Frank Ben and Tim are Machines and Frank is playing like a man on a mission this season and is near uncoverable underneath on the drag routes. Mixing in some Harrison and Pinto or Duffy and Smart makes this a dangerous offense at times. No one on Royal can match up with Frank and quite FRANKLY they cant match up with Ben or Tim’s speed and routes also. Tyler and Murg can try, Jake and Will have some speed also but I cant see Royal going man to man here they don’t matchup well so it will be a lot of zone which should allow Glenn to design plays to find the open hole. On the other side of the ball, Royal I think will struggle to move the ball. They will have to find a way to use their size. Yellow has the ability to pay Man or Zone so Drew will have to use some pre snap movement to find out if its man or zone and use that information. Tyler Murg JJ and Jake will have their work cut out of them getting open on a solid yellow Defense that will be playing with a ton of motivation to win to keep their hopes alive. Yellow comes out guns a blazing in this one and gets a big win
Yellow wins 30-12

Grey vs White

Excellent statement win by grey last week over the fierce Blue train. Grey is coming alive at the right time, I had been hard on them in the regular season but kept saying the playoffs is a different animal. Grey is a contender. White, tough loss, your season is done I believe, unless someone can see a way they sneak in with a win? I don’t think so because Grey has 2 wins and Blue and Black will get a second win, or a tie would still be better than white. Anyway, White lost by 1, tough bounce, heal up in the offseason! Jelani is turning it on come playoff time, Spack is scoring points also but his team is plagued by drops and injuries. With Grey on offense I think they will score on white. White is struggling to stop teams this year which is odd since their roster has some good defenders. I don’t think White can play man against Grey, Luc, Grae, Remy, and the Ryan’s are too much to handle for a 1 legged Z, Mario, Geoff, Wilson, and a hurt Alex Lindsay. Jelani should be able to pick apart their zone, it just depends how many drops Grey will have. Grey is playing for 1st seed. White is playing for pride, and maybe playing loose so they may gamble some. Grey will score. On the other side of the ball, I can see White scoring but not enough to keep up. Grey could play man or zone as they have the speed to matchup very well with White and they should mix it up as Spack can pick apart a defense that stays the same all game. They wont have to worry about Z, he was useless last week and really shouldn’t be playing. Grey will have to worry about Mario and Geoff and Wilson who consistently were open last week. Luc can play on Mario, Remy on Geoff. Perhaps play man on those and have a free safety over top? Grey has a ton of athletes they can rotate in. This game may not be close. Grey wins and takes 1st seed in their pool.
Grey wins 38-24

Blue vs Black

Both teams have 1 win, the winner gets into the Semi finals. A lot on the line in this one folks! Black played well last week and showed they can close out a close game with the pressure on. Blue collapsed a bit and Grey exposed them as beatable. Blue managed to only score 24, their lowest output this season. Their defense wasn’t amazing but not awful ethier, a bad game for Blue who didn’t play their best. Blue’s season could be over here, some pressure on them! Jack is showing some real prowess and ability to score points on anyone. With Blue on offense, Noah should get the team rolling again, he generally doesn’t do well in wet games like last week so lets hope for a better forecast. Noah really only has Sir Jamie, Jack, Derek, that can get open against Man defense, the rest are solid receivers that can catch but they need plays to get them open like Peter, Tony and the 3 middle three J names. Black should be able to slow them down as they counter with Nick on Jamie (He will need help though), King or TJ on Jack and Synder on the other, Noah and Staff and Craig and Wyatt round out this defense. Black will give Noah all sorts of problems and can play a mix of defensive strategies. I see Carolina Blue having some trouble scoring with a little confidence blow last week. They need to turn it around. On the other side of the ball QB Jack needs to avoid Jamie and Jack Whitter and Jomo and they should be fine. The Carolina Blue defense isn’t stacked with athletes but they have been great all year with great play by Jamie and Jack and good positioning from their offense giving their D long fields. Jamie can lock down Nick, Jack on TJ and finding someone to stop Pete and King and Noah could be tough though. I think Blue will need to play a lot of different zone defenses and maybe lock Jamie on Nick. Jack should be able to score here as long as he stays away from the blue ball hawks. Very close game here, Noah finds a way to get it done. But I wouldn’t be shocked if black pulls it out since they have way more depth.
Blue wins a close one 34-30

Red vs Pink

Very important game for Pink here. A red win and they lock up top spot. A pink win and they lock up top spot. Yellow is hoping pink gets destroyed so they can sneak in. Pressure on Pink in this one. Red looked good last week in a shutout win, playing as they should against a weaker Royal team. Pink stumbled a bit and only tied a fired up yellow team that was playing emotionally. The pink team struggled a bit on D that they need to fix this week and I have been mentioning all season they need to sure up their D. With Red on offense, they will score as usual against a medicore Pink defense but Pink does matchup well. I think Giogio matches up well with Joe R and can make him a none factor if they play man. Neeraj may be able to slow up TO. Jordan will have some trouble with Bryce. Mark and Edwards will have to really step up on O. The later picks of pink will have their hands full but you mustn’t forget Kyle plays great D. This offense and Defence should matchup well for pinks favor but somehow they struggle on D so Red will find a way to get it done. On the other side of the ball Kyle needs to get this offense humming again against this stout D in Red. The game changer in this one is G, no one can man to man with him and even doubling him will be a struggle. Jesus can try on Neeraj, TO can try to stop Jordan, maybe joe R as help overtop somewhere, Red also has Edwards Duffy and Danny who play good D. Kyle is going to face a mix of man and zone so again use some pre snap motion to determine the call and pick apart the Red defence, it will be tough though. I think the big factor here is Red doesn’t have pressure here and Jesus can play loose rather than playing with pressure on, since they are in the Semi’s already this usually means a team without pressure plays a bit lackadaisical on D. Pink will be playing all out and giving it their all on both sides of the ball. Pink edges out Red in this one and finishes first in their pool, Red second.
Pink wins 28-22

Therefore my semi Finals are I think? Maybe made a calculation error.

Pink 1st vs Blue 2nd
Grey 1st vs Red 2nd
Rough for the 2 first place teams facing very strong 2nd place teams.

2nd Round Comparison to NFLers

Grae- Godwin, Great routes and gets open often but needs solid hands to crack the top of the league.
Mario- DK Metcalf- Physical specimen- Not a natural receive but a pure athlete who is becoming one.
King- Devante Parker- Size and jump ball potential
Jason N- Odell- Potential but has been a bit of a disappointment
T.O- Jarvis Landry, Catch machine, reliable and always open
Tim- Amari Cooper- Great routes and hands and a pure hustle player
Neeraj- AJ Brown- Just a beast and almost uncoverable
Murg- Robert Woods- Excellent receiver just not a top dog in the league

3rd rounder comparisons

Remy- Tyler Locket- Crazy fast and a bit undersized but still always produces
Geoff- Cole Beasley (Not a burner but good speed and always open) or Jalen Ramsay- Ill go Jalen since he is more of a defensive specialist
TJ- Adam Theilen- Excellent hands and routes
Jack- Justin Jefferson- Young and upcoming, will be a top dog soon if not already there
Bryce- Super steal in the 3rd – Allen Robinson ll , shining now with a QB
Ben- Calvin Ridley, not in age but in excellent route running
Jordan- Terry McLaurin- Up and coming star!
Jake- Will Fuller V- Burner but needs to work on the drops

Is second. So if three teams are in a circular tiebreaker, is it points against overall or just amongst the three teams.

Where's the Playoff banter this week fellas?! With no new posts, I have been forced to do actual work, and ain't nobody got time for that.

Thanks for the well-wishes @Miller Time. Knee is gradually getting better - will be out this week but should hopefully be well-rested in time for semis.

Looking forward to a Red beat-down on Pink tomorrow.

I just finished 18 and word is that team yellow is a good place to resume my career. I’ll take the lead and Frank can follow behind. Odell can go play for white. His daddy will have a field day making videos about their QB.
