White was missing half their team, including Jamie, while Light blue showed up with all their guys. saying it ages poorly is like pouring a bottle of wine down the drain and saying you finished a bottle at dinner.

Any update on the power rankings?

Jelani is doing his usual playing possum. When playoffs come he is going to ball out.

Spack couldn't win without the great Jamie Whitter even though Blue was missing Peyton and a 3rd rounder.

Kyle looks like he is in every game, likely to make the semis again.

Joe is starting a army over there on team red, best attendance in the league.

Matt upset team white, or was that not an upset?

Noah is throwing dimes as usual, always a playoff threat.

Jack is trying to get by without his #1 overall and injuries, hopefully when playoffs come they get healthy.

Ricardo got that first win under his belt, solid roster.

Looked back and Trent Crimm had Matt, Joe, Noah at 6-7-8. Maybe he should stick to soccer.

Hello again lads.

It's been a month since I wrote and I've learned a few things about this wonderful game. One saying I've heard many times is Jimmies and Joes are better than X's and O's. That couldn't be more true of team Carolina Blue and True Red who both feature a key player by the aforementioned name.

True Red is out for true blood on defence. They have dudes who normally play key defensive roles being plugged in at linebacker. A rematch against Noah's squad won't fall to that same result. That final game-winning catch by Robbie Chosen Edwards does not fly.

In Carolina Blue's case, he may have lost the one-two punch of Joe/ Tyler from a year ago, but Joe has two hands, but has proven he only needs one.

Updated Power Rankings:

1. Spack. The Supreme Leader of the First Order has emerged as the best team in the regular season. A creation of Sith Lord Palpatine, he may have suffered a setback against Carolina Blue, but that was without his most feared weapon in Jamie.

2. Carolina Blue. I see many parallels to last season here: Some injury setbacks cost him a few roster spots, but the reality is, those injuries only mean that his key guys are forced to stay in the game longer. His bench is shorter, but his firepower remains strong. Joe is once again lighting up the league with his electric plays, and Jake is hauling in deep balls too.

3. Joe. This squad has had some difficulty moving the ball at times, but they appear to be getting into a groove. Joe is starting to drop dimes, and they are turning into a machine to be reckoned with. The steals started on draft night with Kitch in the 4th round & Macri in the 6th, and they're continuing to show up on the score sheet as this team is dominating the turnover battle.

4. Noah. Team geriatric is turning heads. They have vets who don't drop balls, and Noah tells them exactly where to be. They move the ball with efficiency, and have three of the fastest 50 year olds in the league in TJ, Robbie, and Seabiscuit.

5. Jelani. He's not fooling anyone at this point. We all know he'll be playing in the annual Jelani Adams Invitational on the third Saturday in November. One of the teams above will be left shaking their heads at the conclusion of the round robin, and another will be wondering the same after the semi-finals. He said he isn't playing defence, but we will see how long that lasts.

6. Kyle. This is why we play the games. On paper the combination of Nick and Giorgio should be lethal, but for some reason that hasn't translated to wins. They have lots of vets on this team who should be able to step up and gel into a formidable team, but we've yet to see it.

7. Ricardo. Another top-heavy team that seems to be underperforming. Look to this squad to step up and grind out some wins in tight games.

8. Jack. Frank quit. If it weren't for Bryan's pick six, this season would've been a complete waste of time.

Who is the fastest man in Whitby?
Is it Giorgio?
Is it Liam H?
Will the faster or slower Semanski crash the party?
Will any of the ball-kicking contests involve Frank’s?

While viewing the skills competition from my golden throne on Mount Olympus. I observed demigod Giorgio show the rest of the WMFL how mortal they really are as Giorgio won 3 out the 4 events. Dave Spartacus a demigod himself the other champion.
