| All this talk about individual scoring:interception/sack leaders.. now that the regular season is done, who do we think the MVPs are:
Offense
Probably a Whitter but Chris Pierre has to be in the conversation. Most pundits wrote off team black as too old, good 20 years ago,etc but Chris and others have proved them all very wrong. Would also have Mario and Nick Clarkin in discussion.
Defense
Debate starts and stops with Jamie. Who else?
Quarterback
Spack vs Noah but Joe has shown something this year and deserves to be talked about. Jelani and Matt haven’t shown enough (yet).
Most Improved
Patrick Downie and Jesus. Anyone else?
Rookie of year
Between Jacob Stoop and maybe Tyler M.
Thoughts?

| Fantasy Rankings
- (1pt per pt scored, 4 pts per INT, 2 PTS / sack)
- Part redraft, part results, all smack talk.
1. Jamie - he’s the guy the defense zeros in on, and he still nearly won. Lots of picks puts him over the top. Clear winner.
2. Chris P. - Noah’s guy, gets picks too.
3. Nick C. - lots of points, should have more picks.
4. Jack - he doesn’t win the scoring title without 5. Jamie drawing double coverage, but he’s in the race.
5. Wyatt - lots of scores plus some sacks. Spicy pickle vapes between plays.
6. Bryce - points and picks. Leaderboard in both.
7. Joe R. - lights out YAC but attendance prevented him from winning the title (his & a tournament QB)
8. Mario - points and picks
9. Neeraj - right there with Mario
10. TJ - so much for “my knee is effed, see you in October”
11. Jacob Stoop - he’s not on this list if defenses aren’t seeing their hair go as white at Jack and Jamie’s jerseys as they run by.
12. Pat D.
13. Giorgio - We expected more. Did he save it all for midseason?
14. Tony T. - claims a stat correction is needed on defense. He gets it, he’s here.
15. Kitch - how does Bryan Clarkin have more pick sixes than him?

| Team Black with no players in the top 9, but 4 in the top 15 ... that sounds about right for what Noah thought he was drafting.
Should be a good playoffs, there's definitely some potential for upsets if the lower ranked teams get hot.
Team Black are nothing if not veterans, and won't be sleeping on the possibility of Playoff Jelani making an expectedly unexpected appearance.

| The regular season is behind us and there were some wonderful surprises, coupled with predictions that would’ve cost the books a lot of money. Hopefully only Colin’s followers bet after reading his work.
I said that Noah's team would finish last, but my word - was I wrong! Perhaps when I predicted that they would move the ball with efficiency and score at will, I should’ve also factored in a few defensive stops. They have found ways to win games, and finished second.
I also thought that Joe’s team would finish much lower than they did. That said, I noted their grittiness, and expected them to pull out some wins when you wouldn’t expect them too. They were the grittiest team by far, and they finished 3rd as result. The rematch with black in the round robin is a tantalizing affair.
Ricardo’s team: we all expected more, and that said, I stated that Dave Z was the X-factor. He showed up in week 7, and they nearly knocked off Noah’s team. Sadly, it ended much the same as the Chargers game from a night prior, and coal grey finished last.
Jelani: predicted 5th and they finished 7th. Jelani is looking like himself again, and nobody will be surprised if he pulls out a win in week 1 against Noah.
Purple: This prediction certainly fell flat. We expected far more electricity from the combination of Giorgio and Nick. Hopefully they turn it around in the playoffs, but right now they resemble Vikings in more ways than one.
Green: Where has Frank been? He said he’s back, but the week 7 score card indicated that he's been relegated to WR3 in this offense. The league needs him to step up his game and start throwing hats.
Carolina Blue: a pleasant performance by Jake really carried this squad. Joe should’ve won the scoring title, and I am quite sad that he is in a different pool than Noah’s team. Jamie and Jack will certainly keep him on a leash in the round robin. Matt will need a performance to survive this pool.
Spack: they didn’t disappoint. Electric performances across the board sees them collecting the top two in scoring, a tie for top picks, and the sack title. They were able to break down red in week 7 and pull away in the second half. Clear favorites to win offensive and defensive MVPs, the next five games, and the coveted WMFL championship.
Predicted Pool Finish:
Pool A: White 3-0, Coal Grey 2-1, Carolina Blue 1-2, Purple 0-3
Pool B: Red 2-1, Royal Blue 2-1, Black 2-1; Green 0-3.
I eagerly await Colin’s review.

| Joe R is a top 2 player and it’s not even close. If we’re going by a popularity contest, the rankings are spot on but if we’re going by skill and what has been done in the past, QBs should start thinking about taking him higher.

| Joe R is a top 2 player OFFENSIVELY. On the defensive side of the ball, he has a LONG way to go. Despite being fast and agile, he finds himself chasing defenders on routes and over committing to the first move on double move routes. His knowledge of zone coverage lacks due to not often having played with skilled vets. That being said. There is no one in the league anyone would rather cover less.
