Or is it too early to tell. 9am= the games where the QBs are confused, bring pinies? Common exec, colour choices? Need a new president ? ; ) 9am Ricardo Black vs Joe Cool Grey- Same jersey pretty much Well I am eating my words on this early season, Coal has proving me wrong. Maybe Jesus is a real quarterback, much like this NFL season with Derek Carr, Darnold, and Mayfield looking like MVPs, is jesus an MVP or is Jesus a imposter!? Brock purdy Jesus with a great roster, is it him or the roster? Black on the other hand also showed well against green by putting up 36. Ricardo can score and stoop and Tyler squared may shock people later.These two may see each other come Nov 15 championship weekend playing for the 2nd most important trophy. Ricardo and Joe matchup is a very close one. Both are working on being consistent moving the ball. Joe plays solid D when able to which should give him the edge. Jamie and Mario vs Tyler and Scoop is a mismatch for coal. Tyler and stoop would have trouble cover Jamie alone, adding Mario makes it a tough cover. That being said, Covering Tyler and stoop will be tricky for the height advantage. Khyosa for coal also is dominant and Tyler, who I need to learn more about, will have trouble as would anyone vs Khyosa. Giancarlo and Harrison, I do like Carlo but Ill give the advantage to Harrison for his experience. Marci vs Jai, I really like Jai as a player but Joe knows how to use Marci and he gets sneaky open deep often, ad to coal. Jordan vs Brendon Billy, Coal and Jordan should have this one. Jaden, Derek, Mike, vs Scott, Pinto and Tony. I like the depth of team black here. Jaden will be ramperSAD about that. Junius vs Tyler, Clarkins usually have their way but Jules hands are golden! Duffy never ages, he takes it over Lungrin. Dave vs Peter would be a split but I realized Dave has sired the great wyatt, and to be able to handle wyatt as a child (still a child) he must be an impressive human! This one might be a mismatch. I do smack talk coal a lot but they did draft a great team up and down the roster. Jesus should be able to spread the rock around. Black will be motivated by this dis track here. Some plays will be made but not enough to score on coal. Good luck differentiating players out there! Coal wins- 28-14 9am Kyle Royal Blye vs Matt Baby Blue- Battle of the blues. Fight club Clarkins? The outsiders? Soc’s and the greasers? I think clarkins can be the greasers, too busy fighting to score points, common man! Blue is shocklingly bad in the early season. Still can be scary come playoff time with that roster. Nick is the lone bright spot, much like the lone cut on his right cheek. Ugly loss to coal. Matt and baby blue played a great close game. This team will be scary even though they are sitting at 1 and 2. Kyle vs Matt. Both have championships in their BLUE bloods. Both play defense well. Both can be a little inconsistent at times perhaps, in the sense that they can go off or just be regular, they don’t play poorly! And both have great chemistry with their top dogs. Nick vs Bo are the aforementioned top dogs and both are having stellar seasons. I cant see either one stopping the other, they will need to be doubled, much like the double big mac that nick craves always. Both are plus defenders. Ryan vs Murg, advantage to Ryan and baby blue, he is elite, Murg is only great. Neeraj vs P Money, big mismatch for the Royal team and Neeraj here. Peyton will be bullied by his older brothers in this one. Lots to learn still for young Peyton. Regai and Jayden, have to go with Buffet on this one and Royal! Jake and Suggit, I like Kyles ability to use Jake in the passing game so advantage to Royal. Daniel and Tristan, Tristan will likely be a 2 or a 3 next year so Tristan takes this for Baby. Jay is the best, sorry Sam Grant with 2 first names, ad to royal. Steven is awesome and Croken, but they will struggle with the ageless wonders Robbie and Brett. Ryan, Glenn, Folco, vs Mike, Raf Jr Jr and Ethan. Mike and Glenn are the x factors here, but perhaps the youngster takes the cake for baby. This will be a high scoring game I feel. Both offenses are starting to click and bound for big games. There is not many defensive specialists on these teams, tons of firepower! Both have deep rosters. Coin flip on this game. Dare I take the tie? Nah 1045 Jelani Purple vs Noah Green The Jeff and Matt Hardy colours game. WWF anyone? WWE now for the youngsters Jelani and company played an ugly game but got a big win over red. Their defence came up big producing several INTs. Jelani spreads the ball around nicely and not just focusing on the top dog Joe. Wyatt was MIA as he was busy with the clarkins being a greaser, once he starts to play purple will be that much better. Noah did noah things and scored a bundle, however the story is the defence, notably Miller and Frank balling out on both sides of the ball, not to mention TJ and TO. Scary green team! Green Machine! Jelani vs Noah is a fun matchup. Both have past playoff success and can score in bundles, Jelani adds a defensive advantage but Noah can go off for 50 at times if he is on his A game. Call this one even. Joe vs Frank, Joe seems almost unstoppable but if there is anyone in the league to stop him its Frank! Can Joe cover frank is the real question? Joe maybe more dangerous on O but Frank is the ultimate two way player. Wyatt vs Chris, Chris is a touch football veteran and excellent defensive player to lock down wyatt, wyatt is still learning defense and is a strong player on O. Tough math up for purple. Bryce and TO, Bryce had the speed advantage but TJ has the ability to get open and catch anything thrown at him. This one is too tough to call. Will vs Nigel, close call, both know the league well, Will seems to be ageless, ill take will and purple. Tony and TJ, Both are passionate players, Tony will have the speed edge TJ has the wherewithal and solid hands to still be effective. Blake and Liam vs Ethan and Kyle, Blake BT Breakfast television Turner will turn the tide for purple here. Bryan vs Alex is a mismatch, Alex is severely under drafted and a solid player. Alex for green is a savior. Jermaine and Josh vs Craig and Gareth, Pringles are lovely but hard to stop a Klassen! Green advantage. Miggy and Billy are the only ones who can stop JJ, but they cant on this day. Advantage to green and the J gun. This one could be a very close game if everyone shows up, weather hopefully not a factor for noah. Both teams have potent offenses but I see a healthy green squad should be scary on defesne and come up with a few more stops than purple is able to. Green starts to roll after this big win. Green wins 36-26 1045- Spack White vs Jack Red The Santa Game, get festive! Red and White Spack and company win another game in the final seconds. That clutch experience bodes well for playoff time. Jack and G are money, but perhaps a little worried with how many points they are allowing. Most exciting team to watch right now though! Quite the opposite for red, yawn fest, 9 points? How is that possible in WMFL steamboat league. They play good defence, they just need to find the endzone, perhaps they will this week against a porous white D. Spack and Jack, bingo bango bongo rhyme time! Spack is always elite in this league and in contention and scores at will. Jack, while newer to the league is proving he can move the ball with the best of them. Spack is more cerebral and will do whatever it takes to score, can jack? Or is Jack too kind? Time will tell. Z vs Jack, 8 years ago this is a mismatch for Red, this is 2024, not 2016, Jack takes the cake for white here, easily. Patrick and Girogio, 2 fastest in the league? Patrick is still up and coming but is clearly elite already, G has the ability to really break a game open if he can keep his head in the game, advantage to white and G. James vs King, hard to stop the king on a mission, long live the king! Red advantage. Snyder vs the up and coming Terrel Owens. I like Terrels ability on offense but Synder should be able to shut him down, even steven! Battle of the RILEYS! Walker vs Huhn, Huhn will have to take a walk after, Young Sunny Riley has the advantage for red. Henrique vs Drew, Drew will be inspired by his son winning his battle and he should come out on top also, motivation for Henrqiure! Danny vs Tim, both similar players! Both have specialties and get sneaky open. Call this one even. Patrick vs Jomo. Have to go with Jomo on this one, Patrick will have to play like his brother to keep it close! Geoff vs Jonny, If Geoff plays he will cause Jonny all sorts of problems, but his attendance is shakey this year. Call it even. Pete vs Nick, both around when the league formed I imagine! Pete is dominant when he plays. Pete for Red. Waleed and Noah vs Mike and Santonio, Have to go wit santonio because of the great steeler santonio holmes! The roster seems even, maybe an edge to Red in depth but white with their top dogs. Can red stop spack? Probably not. They will need to go score for score to slow down the white train. White keeps it rolling. White wins 44-36 in a high scoring affair.

Clutch win again and I had them here preseason 2) Purple- Staying 2nd, nice win 3) Green- Scary looking team. Up from 4th 4) Coal- Up from 8. Don’t make me look silly by falling back to the basement! 5) Baby blue- tough loss down from 3rd. They beat red so they stay above them 6) Red- staying here at 6 simply because they don’t look as bad as 7 and 8. 7) Black-Lots to prove here. 8) Royal Blue (Greasers)- Too busy fighting to score points. Blame their top scorer for this. Be a lover not a fighter, even woke AF Frank can probably agree with this!
