Correctly predicted the green and coal win, didnt see red taking down white, and another miss by me was thinking kyle and royal was in the same class as matt and baby blue. 9am Ricardo Black vs Jack Red Black lost to Coal last week, they were still have to score 28 on a stout coal defence but their defence is porous in the last two weeks and allowed 44. Red had a stunning last second win over team white, team white is used to winning on the last play but not vs red. Red was able to start scoring unlike the week prior, but their D allowed 38 points still. Both QBs have struggled to score consistently this season other than Jack last week. Is it their rosters or the QBs themselves? Both do not play defence, have a big arm, and are very similar players. Kind humans *insert heart emoji*. One of these players needs to step it up, Jack in the past has shown he can do so. Tyler F vs Dave Z, I think this one is too close to call, usually I am always fading Z as he shouldn’t be a 1st rounder in my eyes but call this one even. Patrick and Stoop, both 2 athletic young guns, size vs speed and athleticism. The 2nd rounders this year are really stacked across the board, other then greaser fist fight wyatt. I digress, I think I have to go with Patrick on this one, stoop wont keep up with him and Patrick has hops to stop any size advantage. Advantage red. Kinger and Tyler 2, King is playing like a man on a mission this year, return of the king. Advantage red. Snyder and Harrison is too close to call. Riley and Jai, a year ago or 2 I go Jai, this year I have to go with Walker Jr! Drew vs Mister 2 first names Brendon Billy. Drew for sure here, can play both sides, and the famous Friday night lights quote for booby miles, and he can pass, ad to red!! Danny vs Scott, have to go with the sack master danny, nothing against scott. Another advantage to red. Tony and Pinto vs Jomo and Geoff, no massive advantage here but Geoff when he plays is a steal at this spot in the draft for red. Pete will crush tyler for red also. Waleed and Noah the young guns vs Jason and peter, young youth movement again for red. Roster wise Red should have this advantage but they struggle to score. Writing this a week early, sept 18, they lead the league in sacks with 7, next best is 3 teams tied with 2 sacks. That shows their D is locking down players and forcing QBs to eat the ball. I just worry about their offence. Black will struggle to score for sure but they will likely be able to slow down red unless last week is any indication. Red wins a lower scoring game 24-12 9am Kyle Royal Blue Greasers vs Noah Green Yikes, Royal and Kyle look brutal. They need to start showing me something otherwise this will be a long season for them. Someone ensure they dont party on Friday nights anymore. Scoring only 8 in a steamboat league? Allowing 50. So many INTs and mistakes on both sides of the ball is ugly for royal. Not much to say about green here, they are looking like a tremendous machine! On both sides of the ball Green is humming now since week one’s slip up. Dismantling a solid purple team. QB matchup is close because Kyle can move around and play D, but Noah is putting up more points this year and is starting to look very danergous scoring over 40 in 3 straight weeks. Take Noah advantage for green, he certainly wouldn’t get into a fight either, and he shows up correct, not mashed up like kyle. Frank and Nick, both long time first rounders. Nick has more open field escapability, Frank is elite on O and attacks the ball on offence, take Frank here, his politics aside. Ad to green. Miller vs Murg is a mismatch, murg is a solid player but miller is a crazy steal in the second round and a great block for green. TO and Neeraj, both long time staples in the league, good on both sides of the ball. Neeraj more physically gifted at this point in his career, TO a better route runner, even. Nigel and Regai, I love a good buffet for Royal! TJ and Jake, TJ wont be covering Jake, and Jake wont cover TJ. Jake can get open deep with his speed but TJ’s hands are solid when in need on 3rd down, TJ for green. Ethan and Kyle vs Daniel and Jay, too close to call, there are higher rated 6s and 7th rounders on other teams. Call them a draw. Alex and Craig vs steven and Mathew, Alex and craig have athletic advantage for sure here for team green. I do like steven though as the one Clarkin not getting into fights off the field and is smart enough to not have friends that pull them into fights. Shame continues on his brothers! Spirit of the league! Garteth, JJ and Andrew vs Glenn, Ryan and Tulett. This is the battle of JJ vs Glenn. Love them both. Call this even! Green has a big mismatch roster wise and are playing much better this season other than week 1. Green should score at will and their D if they lock up Nick they should do very well and this could get ugly. Not as ugly as getting into bar fights but this will be another blood bath for the clarkins, no pun intended. Green wins 48-18. 10:45- Spack White vs Joe Coal Grey White is coming off a heartbreaking loss in a game they would normally win vs Red. Spack will look to bound back and put up massive numbers here. They need to sure up their D also and perhaps they can here vs a hit and miss Jesus. Coal loves proving me wrong with another dominating win, Jesus has amazing weapons and those players are solid on D as well. Perhaps I should stop doubting Coal?QB mismatch here. Joe has been proving me wrong this year as I fire him up every week by slamming him. Here is some more bulletin board material for Joe. No contest, spack is better at QB, but I will throw joe a bone by saying he is a plus defender. Jamie vs Jack! Battle of the Whitters. Might take jack in a fight as he has more rage, curious how he would do vs the Clarkin greasers, probably would win as the clarkins lose and end up in hospital before game day. Ill take Jamie on the field. Two great players probably upset they could not block together, advantage Coal. Will love to see this battle! Giorgio vs Mario! Love the names, it makes me want to eat some pizza and pasta and have a glass of wine in Sicily. Giorgio no contest here, advantage white. Khyosa vs James, Coal has a big advantage here, Khysoa is probably the best 3rd rounder in years. Sneaky good Giancarlo vs Terrel. Have to give the edge to coal again here. Macri vs Riley, Riley is solid but Macri is getting better this season. Henrquie and Jordan, if Jordan plays and has his head in it, take Coal Jordy, hard to gamble on that so go with an even call. Jaden and Derek vs the McCaskies, newbies very the old heads! Old heads will be used sneakily by spack, ad to white. Mike and Jules vs Jonny H and Nick. The real battle is Nick and Jules! A must watch! Duffy and Dave vs Mike and Santiono. Duffy and Dave, have to go with the alliteration and the easier names for me to write down. Coal is pretty stout on D and will give spack troubles. These rosters are pretty even, Khyosa could be the difference maker as the top dogs cancel out. Can I trust Joe to beat Spack? Nope. Spack will need to design a good D to stop all the weapons Joe Purdy James has. White wins, Coal comes back to earth. Bulletin board material boys! White wins 40-26. 10:45 Jelani Purple vs Matt Baby Blue Purple was in shock as green ran over them dropping a 50 burger. They will need to bounce back here but it will be a tough test vs Baby. Their offence has been lackluster and only Royal is worse. The thing is their D has been solid until facing Green. Matt and Baby Blue got to pick on the Royal blue greasers last week. I am not sure they are as good as that 50 to 8 win. But it is certainly a confidence boost on both sides of the ball. Jelani and Matty Ice! Past champs, both are elite at what they do. Both are tredmenous athletes on both sides of the ball. This will be a fun game! No advantage either way at Que. Bo and Joe, Neither will end up covering eachother, neither can really be covered one on one, perfect a double team or a zone. Joe is just so dangerous with the ball in his hands. Ad to purp. Wyatt Curtis (Greasers last name) too busy fighting to handle Forde who is elite on both sides of the ball. Ad to Blue. Bryce and Peyton is a mismatch in purples favor, Peyton gets open as people underrate him constantly and he will still do damage, I like this Clarkin! Will vs Jayden, will always plays well and is in the right spot, he will stop those drops and give another advantage to purple. Tony and Michael, Tony is very underrated, nothing against Suggit, love that last name by the way, ad to purple though. Blake is no match for the up and coming Tristan, week in and week out Tristan balls out. Sorry Blakey. Ad to blue. Liam Mr. Abs show off, Hainey vs mr two names sam grant, Liam has too much athletic ability to be picked this low, word is he has a Clarkin relation. Liam for purp. Bryan and Robbie, Robbie for sure, bryan is a kind Clarkin though! Jermaine still shows flashes and so does Brett, call it even. Josh, Miggy, Billy vs Mike Connor and Ethan. Mike is the top dog here, but Miggy is second, then Connor then Billy. Too even! Hopefully attendance is not an issue and this game ends up being as competitive as I predict. Both solid offensive teams that could struggle to stop the other team. This should be high scoring, weather report is too far out as I write the team comparisions early on sept 18, I plug in the game recaps on Mondays. Have to stay ahead of the game! Much like Frank who is keeping his head in the game this year! Joe has a big break out game, Forde is another star. Purple starts rolling before the playoffs which is unlike Jelani Purple 48-42 Rankings: 1Green moving up from Third. Looking like the team to beat 2Coal- I still dont know if I can call them the second best team but so far they are proving me wrong. Up from 4th 3White- Tough close loss has them down from 1st but still a top 4 team. 4Baby Blue- Up from 5 in a dominating win 5Red- up from 6. a bit of a two face team. Beating the 2nd and 3rd teams but not always consistent 6Purple. Down from 2. looked out classed vs green 7Black- Same spot. They are who we thought they were! 8Royal Blue- Same spot. Unwatchable team lately.

Shout out to Jack for Spack calling him Frank after our little trash talk board quarrel. Welcome to the club. I was called Giorgio for 6 years!! Sometimes Frankie Giorgio all in one. Truly it's a badge of honour to get called the wrong name. It means Spack is so focused on winning, that he names you after his Idol. That being said, he only called me Giorgio because of the aforementioned Frankie Giorgio. Truly a man I've never heard of prior and still have no idea who he is. A fashion icon? Mogul? Most handsome man alive? I fit the bill on them all.

He has yet to be beat by anyone this year, and I have not seen anyone able to match his unique blend of size, speed, steadiness, and football IQ. The man has been playing with a fully torn choda, compounded by a condition known as dangling taint. And still he dominates! About time you give him the credit he deserves. He remains the top pick, and a better teammate cannot be found. Also @ Tank; I wasn’t aware of this but according to Klassen, Frankie Giorgio was a feature actor in 80’s Greek porno movies. He's gonna be out there just trying to enjoy a nice game of football, and there's gonna be two green jerseys there figuratively punching him out for an hour and a half all morning. Murg is still gonna have a good game, because he's veteran enough to show up sober, but this one (like every one) looks like a bad day waiting to happen for whatever colour shirts are playing Green on any given Saturday.
