If anyone takes this board anything more than good natured fun, that's on them. I can take the shots, and attempt to deliver them as well. Always better when you can back it up, but not necessary! At the end of the day, unfortunately, there ain't no scouts in the parking lot waiting to offer any of us a contract. we all have to work on Monday.

And as for talking on the field, we all sometimes get amped during games, but we all sit on that hill after (or before) games and laugh about it over a beer. Amirite J-Gun?

Absolutely Noah
.I’ve just been backing it up since 1996. One TD, One INT and three sacks is just another day at the office (it just hurts more on Sundays than it used to.)

“You can’t stop that”

Keep in mind...

You sacked me three times.

You intercepted me.

You scored your TD when I was covering you.

I want some cred.

Grey is not a top tier team. They can’t play up to the moment, and I really can’t see them competing against a Red or Carolina caliber team. Amazon has JUGS machines on sale for prime members, let me know I can order you guys a couple.

So it looks like there's three undefeated teams left: Red and Carolina Blue, who play each other ... so barring a tie, one will fall this weekend.

And Jelani, who's going to run into the budding juggernaut that is Jack Black. So not sure if they want to just forfeit now and save the embarrassment of it, or play the game knowing they're going to lose, but hope that their helpless flailing will help them uncover some undiscovered weakness that could help them come playoff time. However, there is no weakness. There is only Snyder -- who clutches up to ensure total destruction of opponents.

This weekend, we played coy and batted around Pink just to see what their best shot looked like. Went from up 16 to down 26-16. Then went TD, pick on 3rd play on defence, two plays to TD, pick on first play of defence, and another TD. Because we know we can do that. It's frightening how good we are. And that was with Staff and King off gallivanting winning championships in other sports, because that's how talented they are.

Anyways ... we'll be down to one undefeated team after this weekend, and's just the pretender that we haven't got around to smashing yet.

Fun indeed! But if you're going to take shots at us for dropping passes, make sure to post your name so I can let you know how badly you messed up too! ;)

At least the real Stephen A Smith isn't scared of voicing his opinion.

Great words Noah. I know Frank really want me to lose by 100 last weekend. No ill Will to red. They did exactly what you’d expect a stand up team to do.

1. White didn’t have enough players. Had opportunities to pick up a guy, which I understand is what normally happens in this league (especially in regular season). The quarterback says no, which starts the loss. Quarterback then throws like four INTs to seal it. How long before the white team calls for the removal of the qb. Put Kitchen in!
2. Key for yellow - throw directly into double coverage. Frank will go up, over, and Moss. And then to the house.
3. When are these qb’s going to realize they shouldn’t throw anywhere near Whitter? Just throw to the other side of the field.
4. Grey looks good with luc and Jelani. Take one away, and they’re only ok.
5. Did black look good, or did pink just look bad? I’m really not sure which it is

I really appreciate the anonymous love on this board, and while I was thrilled to throw in week 2 I'm not making a case for that to happen full time. But...

Let's start a real QB controversy and bring Goulet Home. Show him you care and you want him back in the greatest men's recreation fun football league by making a donation to this great cause. Fly, Goulet Fly! (home that is)

Note: This is a total farce, and any money donated goes directly to the Kids Help Phone.

@DylanGoulet are you for sure out on probation for next year, or is your sentence fulfilled? Am assuming maybe half-way house? Do you know if it will be in the Durham area? What I’m getting at is whether you’ll be able to play next season for sure or not, and I guess also any restrictions around how close you can be to children or old people or animals?
Thanks, hope you’re well!

Here is my reaction to week 3’s games. Stay tuned for week 4 picks. Not that they are special. I am hardly picking over 50%

This segment is called:
Where Colin was Right! Where Colin was Wrong.

Red (Jesus) vs White (Spack)
Wow was I ever wrong on this game. I picked it to be close and white to win but Red demolished white. Some people on the trash talk board are very happy with this result due to past blow outs happing at the hands of spack. Ill throw my 2 cents in here quickly then move on. Blow outs are a part of the game. I would not want to play against a team that stopped trying and “went easy” on me, it is more humiliating. It is more fun to play against a challenging team and them to play full out. Also, it isn’t fair for the winning team to have to stop trying and enjoying themselves by not performing. If a team can’t take a blow out loss, that’s a shame. The spirit of the league is for fun hence both teams try the whole time, if you only find close games fun, don’t play (sorry not sorry). Anyways, excellent job team red! Jesus is looking great, the team is simply humming on both sides of the ball. Team white you were very short handed, I am looking forward to seeing what you guys can do at full strength and playing with pride.

Grey (Jelani) vs Yellow (Glenn)
WELP, got this game wrong also. I predicted a huge blowout by Grey, and it was much much closer than that. Frank is a beast who is able to put his team, or maybe multiple players from the other team, on his back. This game may be a loss may hurt since it was so close. Yellow you should look on the bright side, you can hang with the so called big dogs. Maybe you will face them again! Excellent job all around. As for team Grey, you did your job and got your victory. A win is a win, it doesn’t matter if it is by an inch or a mile! I am a little a disappointed you couldn’t pull away and assert your dominance but winning close games is a skill that a team needs come playoff time. People might be poo pooing on your performance, and yes it wasn’t impressive but still got the job done. Just remember during the round robin not to “play down” to your opponent.

Pink (Kyle) vs Black (Jack)
Umm maybe making picks aren’t my thing? I got this game wrong as well. I picked Pink to score a ton and Black to score very little. Both teams scored at will, and Black came out on top. Team Black is a little bit of Jekyll and Hyde situation here. Looking great one week, not great the next, and now great. Jack is showing he can score against any team which is good, the defence is showing flashes. I really don’t know how to predict their performance. They have excellent potential with a high ceiling but a low floor as they can also lay an egg. Fun team to watch! As for team Pink, I think you are getting lots of flak, but you have proven you can score on any team. Kyle and team pink keep rolling on offense! My worry with you now is your ability to stop teams. Which is my own fault for having your defence ranked well in the preseason rankings. Someone needs to take leadership on that D and get proper match ups even when playing a zone. I still have faith in Pink, and now I think Black can do some damage come playoff time.

Blue (Noah) vs Royal (Drew)
HEY GUYS! I got a game right! Almost the exact the score also, check it out. Blue has looked unstoppable this year with their only scare being pink in week one. I said Frank was a beast, but Jamie is Beastier? If that’s a word. The guy is playing with hands taped due to injury and still catches everything. Royal, I really like your roster to be a solid defensive team but the offense is putting you in bad spots, keep your heads up, it is still a fun game. Someone will take you lightly and you will pounce, just like you almost did vs team grey last week. Noah everyyear has so many unknowns and teaches them the ways of the league for touchfootball and has his team rolling quicker than usual. Love watching this team and they all get along swimmingly, no clubhouse issues. All these big wins are great, I would like to see how they handle a close game again. Will nerves get to them because they are not used to it? Time shall tell.

I was 1 for 4 on the picks, and 7 for 12 on the season.

Power rankings after 3 weeks
1) Blue- Undisputed top dogs
2) Grey- ugly win yes, but not many other teams are winning
3) Red- hard to argue with results now
4) A- Pink- I still have faith this team can pull it together
B- Black- Tie with pink here. I still need to see more
6) Yellow- Showing some teeth finally
7) White- Very lackluster start to the season, injuries or not
8) Royal- Maybe you can beat white soon?

Last week I was awesome:
1. Had red beating white, predicted 2 red int’s but it was 3 or 4.
2. Had yellow losing by 2 to grey. Magical.
3. Kyle threw 3 picks, not the four I predicted. None to Nick but the Klassensnyder pick kept their streak alive
4. Royal let me down. I thought they’d score 18 but they only managed 8. J-Gun got himself a score, a pick, and some saction. How long till we see him slinging TDs too?
On to this week:
1. Red vs Carolina. Should be a great game, can’t wait to watch! Red will pull this one out. Bold prediction: Jamie Whitter does not score. I think red has the men to shut him down and joe is too smart to throw at him.
2. Greg vs Black: Black might just be better than people think, and I think recent weeks have shown grey is probably not as good as billed. Bold Prediction: Adam King scores 20 to carry Black to the win.
3. Yellow vs Royal: someone’s got to win this, don’t they? Yellow has been looking better each week and while Royal has improved on D their O just isn’t clicking yet. It will, just not this week. Bold Prediction: Drew scores three times, one of which is a pick six Glenn throws him.
4. White vs Pink: Throw in some blonde and this might be the Barbie dream house! I don’t think white is good, and will they have players? Big bounce back for pink this week after a tough loss last week. Bold Prediction: Pink wins the game by 4 on a pick-six from spackman to Kyle, like it’s his birthday!
Have a great weekend gentlemen, keep ballin’!

This weeks Week 4 Picks

Red (Jesus) vs Blue (Noah) Jesus vs Noah and his Ark

I love this matchup. A great test for both teams. Red is looking to prove they are for real and Blue is looking to show that they deserve the top ranking. While red is undefeated they have played my preseason lower ranked teams and one undermanned white team. Blue however has beat top teams and dealt with lower teams as they should. QB matchup for now goes to noah even though jesus is a top defender in this league. Both can stretch the field, I will just go with the experience of noah for now. Rocca is an excellent matchup for whitter. Usually Id take Jamie in a landslide but Rocca is super tough to cover. If anyone can it will be Jamie. On the flip side, Rocca still has work to do on D. Ill take Jamie here for blue. Jason and Jackson will have trouble with the size of T.O and Bryce, take team red here. Derek, Jomo and Carroll for blue will again have trouble with the aggressive play from Mark, Edwards and DP. I have to take the late picks of blue over the late picks of red simply because of tony and peter, and this is not a slight to red’s late picks like higney and company. Looking at the past games and the standings and watching both teams play it does look like Red should be a favourite here with a stout D and their ability to score, I just don’t think they have been tested yet. Blue has played a tough pink squad and white when they had enough guys to field a team (even without spack). In the preseason I would have this as a blow out, but I will give jesus and his squad a lot of credit here. Noah and Jamie are just too dynamic to bet against though, they win a close one and a fun one.
Blue wins 34- 28

Grey (Jelani) vs Black (jack)

You better hope the rain isn’t bad here to darken the grey jerseys. This could be tough to tell who is who. Lets bring back the fake NFL jerseys! Anyways, in the preseason this would be another blowout like the previous game. Grey has shown flashes of greatness but also shown they can struggle when not at full strength and clicking. Black is also very hit or miss but I think they are far more unpredictable at this point than team Grey when Grey is firing on all cylinders. Black has a chance here for sure. QB matchup is easy for me with Jelani having the advantage, but Jack has shown excellent promise and could be around for a long time. Great QB play is key. Luc vs Nick will be very fun to watch, Both are obviously strong 2 way players and are rising stars in the league if not peaking stars. Excellent speed for both players here, I like Luc’s ability to play D and also the help Luc will have with Grae and Remy where as Nick has King and TJ. Nothing against King and TJ but they are outgunned with young guns of remy and grae. Youth vs experience here could go either way. Ill take team grey’s top 3 for now. Synder and Noah would usually outdo any duo at this draft spot but I am very impressive with Ryan and Rion, they can both play ball at a high level and will be drafted much higher next year, take team grey here. Staff and Criag get the advantage over Jerry and dante for team black. Both teams have excellent late picks but I have to go with black having Wyatt, Patrick and Pete. Based on this analysis and what I have seen so far, grey has top tier talent and could pull away easily, but this is regular season and they could allow the depth of team black to hang around a little too long. I think team grey silences the haters and gets their defence back on track while still scoring. Jack will not go down without a fight though as shown last week. Closer game than I would have though
Grey wins 26-14

Yellow (Glenn) vs Royal (Drew)

The battle of the winless teams but both have shown bright spots with Royal sneaking a tie from Grey and Yellow looking good last week in the close game vs grey. Maybe these two are just kryptonite for grey and play well vs grey though? As both have looked sub par vs other teams. I had these teams as basement dwellers in the preseason so lets see who can finally get a W! Or tie? Glenn and Drew is an interesting matchup, I like Glenn’s ability to be accurate and design plays and Drew has the stronger arm. Ill take Glenn in this matchup. Frank and Tyler is a mismatch I think, while tyler is a great athlete yes, Frank is superior for yellow. Tim and Murg will be great, both play hard and are elite, but Ill take Murg here for Royal. I think Ben and Jake are both similar players and should be a tie but a slight slight edge to Ben who has been playing well this year for yellow. Will and JJ take the cake for Royal over Harrison and Pinto in this one. I still need to see more from the yellow duo there. Duffy and Smart are a tie with Ben and Timmy. The late picks are a close call but I have to go with team yellow simply because of the greatness of Billy. This matchup will difficult to call, it may come down to attendance issues. Both teams put forth a good effort each week but struggle on both sides of the ball. I will go with team yellow here because of the QB and top pick advantage and they are coming off a good performance where as Royal was disheartened by playing blue last week. I could be wrong and Yellow could be riding high and play down to their competition but I think Frank will pull them to victory. (Maybe a blowout win? Or will that upset too many sensitive people).
Yellow wins a close one. 20- 16

White (Spack) vs Pink (Kyle)

This should have been a great game to mark on the calendar in the preseason but both teams have drastically disappointed me. The difference is that Pink has shown some signs of life in some games without being blown out and have a blowout of their own. It seems like team white is injured or has attendance issues so we shall see how this goes. At QB the matchup is a tight one, both have shown flashes in the past with an ability to score and run and offense and Kyle plays excellent D. This year I have to go with the young gun based on the first 3 games. Giorgio vs Z is a miss match in Pink’s favor, G is playing out of his mind this year. Neeraj and Mario would be a great battle to watch but Mario is hurt, I think Id take Neeraj here either way. Kitch vs Jordan would be not a matchup we would see too much because both specialize on D, call this one a tie for now, even though I believe attendance could be an issue. Id take Wilson over Steven here for team white, but someone said Wilson is hurt also so I don’t know what to do. I think Quincy and Alex are a tie Jay and Rodney, experience vs youth though can always cause problems both ways. Pink has the ad here with Jules and Waleed over James and Matt. White has the late picks if they show up with the likes of the warbird and Jason and dougie. The matchup on paper looks like a close one, and I wish it was. White has only shown a slight bit of life week 1 against grey where they ultimately lost. Both teams should want to win this game as they shouldn’t be pleased with their performance up to this point. White has not shown an ability to play good D, I think they can get the offense rolling a bit but Pink’s D will play better here and put their O in good spots.
Pink wins to get back to 500
38-26

Power rankings after 3 weeks
1) Blue- Undisputed top dogs
2) Grey- ugly win yes, but not many other teams are winning
3) Red- hard to argue with results now
4) A- Pink- I still have faith this team can pull it together
B- Black- Tie with pink here. I still need to see more
5) Yellow- Showing some teeth finally
6) White- Very lackluster start to the season, injuries or not
7) Royal- Maybe you can beat white soon?

I just hope everyone plays their best all game on Saturday. Blow out or not, don’t worry that there are sensitive people who only want close games, cough FRANK cough. The winning team has the right to keep trying since they paid the league fee also. Kick a last second fg if they want. The losing team should enjoy the challenge and not hope the other team stops trying as that is more of a slap in the face. Play hard and be safe! Spirit of the league 😊

I think this is the game where White rights the ship and puts a W on the board. A couple guys were missing last week and let the team down, but I don't expect them to do the same from here on out. Playoffs are truly what matter, but that isn't an excuse. I pick the Legion Of Wound in a close one 28-21

I’ve reflected on what the pundits have to say about this weeks games. I have determined that TJs prediction is the most accurate. I’m not so sure that grey will even score a point, if I’m to be honest with all of you. I do like that they have two guys whose phonetic pronunciation is ‘rye-anne’ but is spelled two different ways. It’s interesting. And there are two Samanskis, handsome devils. But they just aren’t up to the challenge this week. It’s like a couple of cans of Steamwhistle trying to take down Big Pete. No! Big Pete will crack them open and guzzle them down, and in support of yet another of this weeks themes, he then urinates those Steamwhistles out after having absorbed all nutrients into his own mighty body. Now, if there were 24 Samanskis they might be able to take black down, just like 24 Steamwhistle tall boys might take Big Pete down. But you don’t have 24 Samanskis, do you Jelani?!? No, you have only two. And so you will lose.
